Certifying Staff EASA Part 66 CAT B1 (m/w/d)

General Atomics AeroTec Systems GmbH is the manufacturer of the legendary DO 228 and is responsible for the maintenance and repair of business jets and military helicopters in Oberpfaffenhofen, next to Munich.
Your day to day tasks
- Supervision and execution of maintenance activities related to Bombardier Challenger and Global Series
- Inspection of performed work according to specifications within the scope of EASA Part 66 CAT B license
- Preparation of release documents after maintenance
- Airworthiness evaluation for identified deviations (findings)
- Implementation of technical upgrades and modifications
- Execution of troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Provide technical leadership, coordination and instruction to assigned staff
- Carry out technical briefings/de-briefings with customers for assigned maintenance projects
- Execution of working tasks or inspection of performed work according to specifications within the scope of EASA Part 66 CAT B license
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training in an mechanical engineering profession – A/C technician or engineer for aeronautical systems
- At least 5 years of professional experience in A/C maintenance for civil aviation
- EASA Part 66 CAT B1 license with preferably type rating on Bombardier Challenger (300/350/601/604/605/650/850) and/or Global (5000/6000/7500/Express) models
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Willingness to work in shifts and on field service activities
- Good computer skills (MS-Office applications and SAP)
